Earth Day ivy pull set for Blandford Canyon

The city of Vancouver is seeking volunteers age 13 and older to remove English ivy and other invasive plants from Blandford Canyon on Saturday in honor of Earth Day.

Tools will be provided at the event, which will be from 10 a.m. to noon. Volunteers should come prepared with gloves, long pants and closed-toe, sturdy shoes. Participants will meet at the southwest corner of MacArthur Boulevard and North Blandford Drive.
