Battle Ground — Battle Ground High School senior Cameron Faley won the Les Schwab Pride in Performance Award for his modified 1995 Nissan 240SX at the 59th Annual Portland Roadster Show on March 20. With the win, Faley earned $500 for the school’s automotive program, which Faley has been a part of two years. Faley swapped out the car’s engine for a SR20DET dual overhead camshaft turbocharged engine with an intercooler, customized the exhaust, relocated the oil filter, relocated the battery to the trunk, upgraded the brake system and customized the wheel.
