Linn-Benton takes 3 of 4 from Clark

Linn-Benton won three of four games from the Clark College baseball team, sweeping the Saturday doubleheader at Kindsfather Field, 16-4 and 2-0.

Clark (14-18, 3-9 NWAC South) won the second game on Friday in Albany, Ore., 3-1 after losing the opener 5-2.

In the first game Saturday, Clark’s Sam Kosbab hit a home run, but the Penguins were held to six hits. In the second game, Clark was held to three hits.

Clark is next scheduled to travel to Coos Bay, Ore., for a four-game series against Southwestern Oregon on Friday and Saturday.
