Washington State University Vancouver will celebrate Arbor Day with a tree planting with the Clark Public Utilities StreamTeam from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 11. Volunteers will meet in the covered picnic area by the sports court on campus, 14204 N.E. Salmon Creek Ave. Parking is free on weekends.

Lunch will be provided for this free, public event, but preregistration is required. To sign up, contact StreamTeam@clarkpud.com or 360-992-8585.

StreamTeam is dedicated to addressing the problems facing the Salmon Creek Watershed. The program has planted more than 700,000 trees since its inception in 1992, restoring approximately 120 acres of land along 15 miles of stream length.
