Registration is open for auditions for this year’s Sing Fourth teen vocal competition to be held during Vancouver’s Fourth of July celebration.

Auditions will go to the first 45 Clark County high school students who register by May 13. Contact the Fort Vancouver National Trust at 360-992-1804 or events@fortvan.org.

Auditions begin at 1:30 p.m. May 16. Contestants should bring a karaoke-style CD of their musical accompaniment. Judges will select 10 finalists for the Sing Fourth competition, which begins at noon on Saturday, July 4, on the Vancouver Toyota main stage at the Fort Vancouver National Site.

The winner receives a $1,000 college scholarship, with a $500 scholarship for second place and a $250 scholarship for third place.

The vocal competition is sponsored by Davidson & Associates Insurance and Pemco Insurance. Independence Day at Fort Vancouver is sponsored by Bank of America.
