BASIC TRAINING

Air Force Airman Brandon A. Muske, a 2014 graduate of Washougal High School, has completed basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio. He is the son of Duane Muske, of Vancouver and Brandy Van Riper of Clackamas, Ore., and stepson of Kelly Muske of Vancouver, and Christian Van Riper of Clackamas. He is also the grandson of Sharon McKean of Washougal.

AIR FORCE ACADEMY APPOINTMENT

Meghan VanderMaas, a senior at Hockinson High School, has been selected to train as an officer in the Air Force and will report on June 25 to the Air Force Academy in Colorado. She is the daughter of Tony and Amy VanderMaas of Hockinson.
