Pacific Park — Auto prowlers struck the same victim’s car twice within a couple of weeks at Pacific Community Park on Northeast 164th Avenue. Elizabeth McAllister, the mom, contacted The Columbian to let everybody know that her daughter suffered two smash-and-grabs in a row and it didn’t matter that her new purse was hidden completely out of sight the second time; the window was still smashed and the purse still got stolen. “This is such a wonderful, well-used park … it would be good for people to be aware of the problem … maybe the thieves could be caught!”
