Week 4 prep football player of the week: Bryan Kelly, Camas

Bryan Kelly of Camas was voted The Columbian’s high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 27.

Kelly collected 34 percent of the 1,583 votes cast by fans to beat out Garrett Jones of Mountain View, who had 23 percent.

Kelly had 187 yards rushing on 11 carries and two touchdowns in a 49-7 win over Evergreen.

The other nominees were Wyatt Harsh of Woodland, Cole Judd of La Center and Gunner Talkington of Battle Ground.

Nominees and the online ballot are posted at www.360preps.com each Saturday and voting continues until 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Players may be elected player of the week once per month, and no player can be nominated for the honor in consecutive weeks.
