LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Walt Disney World is planning a new attraction inspired by the popular movie “Frozen” at the Norway Pavilion at Epcot near Orlando, Fla. The new attraction replaces the Maelstrom boat ride.

It will take guests to the fictional land of Arendelle and recreate moments and music from the film. The pavilion will include an area where guests can meet the movie’s sister characters Anna and Elsa.

“Frozen” themes also will be a major part of holiday activities at the Magic Kingdom Park this year. Cinderella Castle will turn into an ice palace nightly starting in early November, and Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will include appearances by “Frozen” characters Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf.
