Week 3 prep football player of the week nominees

Nominees for high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Sept. 20. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Tuesday with results published in Wednesday’s Columbian.

• CALEB BROWNING, UNION: Browning rushed for 215 yards on 16 carries and four touchdowns in the Titans’ win over Mountain View.

• BRANDON CASTEEL, WASHOUGAL: Casteel rushed for 292 yards on 15 carries and had TD runs of 98, 90 and 70 yards in the Panthers’ win over Ridgefield.

• BRYSON ENGE, SKYVIEW: Enge caught five passes for 126 yards and three touchdowns in the Storm’s win voer Battle Ground.

• LIAM FITZGERALD, CAMAS: Fitzgerald completed 15 of 19 passes for 254 yards and four touchdowns in Camas’ win over Rogers.

• BILLY NELSON, EVERGREEN: Nelson returned a fumble 27 yards for a TD, returned two kickoffs for TDs and had 31-yard TD run in the Plainsmen’s win over Heritage.
