Tumwater junior Easton Trakel scored four touchdowns on five carries and totaled 143 yards as the host Thunderbirds beat the shorthanded Wildcats.
La Center (0-3) was missing seven starters for various reasons. According to coach John Lambert, most of them should return over the next two weeks.
Defensive tackle Zack McRoberts and linebacker Jake Wise played a strong game, Lambert said.
Lambert said he was pleased with how hard his team played.
