Non-league football: North Beach 58, Seton Catholic 14

North Beach of Ocean Shores rushed for 376 yards, improving to 3-0 with a 58-14 win over the Cougars at Doc Harris Stadium in Camas on Friday.

Seton Catholic (1-2) scored midway through the first quarter to pull within 8-7, but the Hyaks scored the next seven touchdowns.

North Beach kept the Seton defense off balance with its wing-T offense, scoring six times on plays longer than 20 yards including a 78-yard burst by Cameron Keller for the Hyaks third touchdown of the first quarter.

Seton Catholic quarterback Will Noce-Sheldon ran for 107 yards in the loss. The Cougars scored on a 16-yard option play in the first quarter with Emil Cham taking a pitch from Noce-Sheldon.

The other Seton score was a 24-yard run by freshman Jonathan Stell late in the game.
