Prep highlights: Union girls shut out Skyview

Delaney Lindahl assisted on goals by Makayla Woods and Nika Chick to lead Union to a 2-0 girls soccer victory over Skyview on Thursday.

Mo Spieth had three saves in goal for the Titans (2-0 4A Greater St. Helens League).

Stars of the day

• Livi Cox, Union girls swimming, won the 200 individual medley, 100 butterfly and was on the winning 200 medley and 200 free relay teams in a four-way meet with Hudson’s Bay, Columbia River and Heritage at Propstra.

• Spencer Tibbits, Fort Vancouver golf, shot 1-under-par 36 at Colwood for medalist honor in a match against Hockinson.

• Eddie Abellar, Union boys golf, and Logan Hansen, Mountain View boys golf, shared medalist honors with 1-over-par 37s in three-way match at Camas Meadows won by Union.

• Katlyn Bigley, La Center soccer, scored five goals and had an assist in the Wildcats’ 8-0 win over White Salmon.

• Anyssa DeVera, Camas soccer, scored two goals and had an assist in the Papermakers’ 5-0 win over Evergreen.

• Nick Ayres, Columbia River golf, shot a 1-under-par 34 at Tri-Mountain.

• McKenna Harshbarger, Prairie soccer, scored in the closing seconds to earn a 1-1 draw with Mountain View.

• MacKenzie Ellertson, King’s Way soccer, had three goals and one assist in a 7-0 win over Kalama.

• Lauren Harris, Camas volleyball, had 12 kills, eight digs and three aces in a 3-0 win over Union.

• Brant Buchanan, Evergreen golf, shot a 39 on the back-9 at Green Mountain as the Plainsmen defeated Skyview.

• Kate Swett, Woodland volleyball, had nine kills, two blocks and four aces in a win over Washougal.

• Makena Wilcox, Columbia River girls swimming, beat her seed time in winning the 50 freestyle, and also won the 200 free in the four-way meet at Propstra.
