Three local churches are hosting a free one-day medical and dental clinic for uninsured and underinsured people.

The Compassion Clinic is from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at View Ridge Middle School, 510 Pioneer St. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Organizers encourage people to arrive early, especially those seeking dental services.

The clinic is offering medical, chiropractic, vision, audiology, prescription and foot care services, in addition to a range of dental services, such as exams, cleanings, extractions, fillings and X-rays.

The event will also include a resource fair, hair cuts, massages, a kids zone, lunch and used clothing giveaway. All services are free and are offered to any uninsured or underinsured person in need.

The clinic is a collaboration of three local churches: Ridgefield Nazarene, Messiah Lutheran and Pleasant View Nazarene.
