RIDGEFIELD — The Ridgefield Spudders dominated the Kalama Chinooks, 35-14, for another big win for the 2014 season.

With a relentless offense led by senior Nathan Eggleston, who rushed for 140 yards, and a very capable Jonah Roberts handing out the pigskin the Spudders are now 2-0.

It seems to be a new year and a revitalized Spudders team looked very comfortable on the field.

“It feels great,” Nathan Eggleston about being 2-0 out of the gate. “If we can keep working hard we’re going to go far.”

Not to dismiss the Chinooks who played a good game. However, they just could not get past the Spudders’ defense.

Kalama’s Isaac Truesdell threw the ball well but could not get his team down the field enough times to threaten the Spudders.
