Workshop on safe and healthy streets offered

Clark County Public Health, the city of Vancouver and the county are partnering to host a community workshop on safe and healthy streets.

The Safe & Healthy Streets citizen engagement workshop is 7 to 9 p.m. Sept. 29 at the Clark County Center for Community Health, room C210, 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd.

The workshop is free to attend but requires registration. To register, email ellen.welsh@clark.wa.gov or call 360-397-8000 ext. 7373.

The workshop will cover how local planning decisions are made, ways to make streets and neighborhoods safer for biking and walking, and how to share input.
