Clark County Connects seeks volunteer participants for the annual Clark County Day of Service on Sept. 13. You can help nonprofit agencies and just plain folks throughout Clark County with projects from yard work and trail maintenance to sorting donations for the needy.

A kickoff event for volunteers is set for 8 a.m. at the Share Fromhold Service Center, 2306 N.E. Andresen Road, Vancouver. Volunteers are invited to bring food donations to benefit Clark County food banks.
