BASIC TRAINING
These service members with local ties have recently completed basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio: Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Zachary W. Furnia, a 2013 graduate of La Center High School; Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Timothy R. Giles, an honor graduate and the son of Ross and Miriam Giles of Vancouver, and a 2003 graduate of Evergreen High School; and Air Force Airman Raymond L. Peterman, the son of Robert and Danniel Weatherall of Amboy and a 2014 graduate of Battle Ground High School.
