Junior Kalani Umiamaka rushed for 150 yards and scored three touchdowns, and the Heritage defense pitched a shutout in the coaching debut of Chuck Hawthorne at Heritage.

Umiamaka got more than half of his yard on his first touchdown. From Heritage’s 23-yard line, Umiamaka took a hand-off into the line, where he was stopped. He bounced to his right, then reverse field to break loose on a 77-yard touchdown run that put Heritage up 7-0 with 3:09 left in the first quarter.

Umiamka would add a 17-yard touchdown pass play in the second quarter and a 15-yard TD run in the third quarter.

That was more than the Heritage defense would need.

The Timberwolves limited to 144 yards of total offense and nine first downs.

Heritage quarterback Tyler VanBuskirk passed for 152 yards.

Denzel Hamiel led Prairie with 48 yards rushing and 62 passing.
