Construction of a new science, technology, engineering and mathematics facility at Clark College is affecting campus parking west of Fort Vancouver Way.

Available parking: All lots east of Fort Vancouver Way are open. West of Fort Vancouver Way, the purple parking lot, accessible from Fort Vancouver Way, is open. There is street parking on Fort Vancouver Way.

Closed parking: Yellow Lot 1 south of the T building, accessed from Fort Vancouver Way, is under construction but will reopen Oct. 4. Yellow Lot 2 north of the T building is closed.

The parking lot between Clark College Foundation and the T building has been eliminated. Foundation visitors can use two parking spaces on Fourth Plain. The foundation is accessible by foot only from Fourth Plain.

Walkers/bikers/bus: People who previously cut through the woods on Fourth Plain to access the campus will not be able to do so until Oct. 4, when a new path will be opened. Until then, pedestrians must walk up Fort Vancouver Way. Bus riders coming to campus should not get off on Fourth Plain, but come up to Fort Vancouver Way. Construction crews will create a new pathway from Fourth Plain to Fort Vancouver Way by Oct. 4.

The first day of classes at Clark College is Sept. 22.
