Firefighters will be asking motorists for donations Thursday and Friday during the annual Fill the Boot event that benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The event is at the intersection of Northeast 78th Street and Highway 99 from noon to 6 p.m. Last year, the Vancouver firefighter union, IAFF Local 452, raised more than $15,000 during the two-day event and aims to exceed that amount this year.
