A free Saturday workshop will offer participants information on composting science and techniques.
The two-hour workshop will last from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at the Center for Agriculture, Science and Environmental Education, 11104 N.E. 149th St. in Brush Prairie. The event will include a tour of a composting demonstration site.
Pre-registration is required for the workshop. People can register and learn about workshops through the Columbia Springs Environmental Education Center online at www.columbiasprings.org/mcr/workshop.
