RESERVE OFFICERS’ TRAINING CORPS (ROTC)
ROTC Cadet Joshua R. Agard, a 2011 graduate of Battle Ground High School; and ROTC Cadet Andrew C. Wilmoth, a 2011 graduate of Washougal High School, have recently graduated from the ROTC’s Leader Development and Assessment Course at Fort Knox, Ky. Agard is enrolled at Central Washington University, Ellensburg, and Wilmoth is enrolled at Carroll College, Helena, Mont.
BASIC TRAINING
Air Force Airman Elmehdi Berrissoul, son of Ahmed and Fatna Berrissoul of Vancouver, has completed basic training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio. Berrissoul earned a diploma in 2011 at Hudson’s Bay High School.
Army Pvt. Eric Cordova has completed basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Cordova is the son of Eric and Rebecca Cordova of Ridgefield and a 2007 graduate of Heritage High School.
Air Force Airman Vanessa B. Herrera, a 2013 graduate of Washougal High School, has completed basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, graduating with honors. She is the daughter of Alicia Herrera of Washougal and Kenny Herrera of Vallejo, Calif.
