Scholarships

These WWU students from Clark County have received scholarships for the 2014-15 academic year:

Jillian Adams, daughter of James and Julie Adams of Vancouver and a 2011 graduate of Mountain View High School, received a $1,500 Ruth Watts Science Scholarship Endowment. She is pursuing a degree in Chemistry.

Gena Burchette, daughter of Kenard and Suzanne Burchette of Vancouver, received a $1,100 Katherine Casanova Memorial Scholarship. She is majoring in Elementary Education.

Devon Chandler, daughter of Alysa and Mike Chandler of Vancouver and a 2014 graduate of Hudson’s Bay High School, received a $1,000 Leadership Advantage Scholarship. She is pursuing a degree in English Literature.

Dylan Freeman, son of Kellie Rodgers of Vancouver, received a $1,000 Ada and Don Walter Endowment Fund. He plans to major in Music Performance.

Ariana Hoyer, daughter of Carla and Terry Hoyer of Vancouver and a 2012 graduate of Columbia River High School, received a $2,500 Communication Studies Department scholarship. She is pursing degrees in Communications Studies and Spanish.

Mikylah Hunsaker, daughter of Brett and Kecia Hunsaker of Vancouver, received a $1,000 Math Memorial Scholarship Fund. She is majoring in Mathematics.

Tess Nakaishi, daughter of Richard and Lana Nakaishi of Washougal, received a $900 William K. McNeill English Literature Memorial Scholarship. She is pursuing degrees in English Literature and Theater.

Evan Rumble, son of Newt Rumble and Barb Kusik of Ridgefield, received a $1,800 Charlene Lafleur Bronson Endowment. He majors in Art Education.
