BATTLE GROUND — After handing out two dozen grants in 2014, the Master Gardener Foundation of Clark County is accepting grant applications for 2015. Applications are due by the end of November, according to the organization.
This year, the Master Gardener Foundation awarded 24 grants totaling $40,000 to 15 local organizations for horticulture education in Clark County. Recipients included the Washington State University Master Gardener Program, the 4-H Restorative Community Service Food Bank Garden and the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site Interpretive Garden, among others. The awards followed successful fundraising events for the Master Gardener Foundation, a nonprofit organization.
Grant applications for 2015 are due to the foundation office by Nov. 30. People can learn more and download the application online at www.mgfcc.com/grants.html.
