2014 FALL STARTUP EVENT MATHEMATICS CONTEST

Mountain View High School students won 22nd place in the 2014 Fall Startup Event, a national mathematics contest administered by National Assessment & Testing, with Peter Lu, a senior, placing 12th nationwide. Coached by Barbara Elliott, the students answered 100 problems in a variety of mathematical topics in 30 minutes.

2014 SIEMENS COMPETITION MATH/SCIENCE/TECHNOLOGY

Jason Anderson, a student at Columbia River High School, was named a semifinalist in the science research scholarship competition.

2015 NATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Jessica N. Ekeya, a senior at Columbia River High School, was named a semifinalist in the scholarship program.

2015 NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Christopher Mackie, a senior at Battle Ground’s CAM Academy, was named a semifinalist and is eligible to compete for a National Merit Scholarship.

CAM students Alexandra Probst, Nathaniel Yazdani and Roderick Meyer and Battle Ground High School students Kira O’Connor, Danielle Russell and Maegan Stewart received letters of commendation from the National Merit scholarship Program for placing in the top five percent nationwide.
