Tina Elliott of Camas volleyball was voted The Columbian’s high school fall sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 18.
Elliott collected 29 percent of the 987 votes cast by fans to beat out Makena Wilcox of Columbia River swimming, who had 22 percent.
Elliott had 76 assists, 28 digs and five aces in a pair of league wins for the first-place Papermakers.
The other nominees were Ben Gruher of Union golf, Katzxia Moua of Washougal soccer and Colton Reed of Mountain View tennis.
