Hudson’s Bay’s Aleksandr Mertvyy and doubles team Thanh Vo and Dat Vo reached the final of the 2A sub-district tournament in Longview on Friday.
All three are guaranteed a spot in the district tournament next week that will determine state berths.
Mertvyy will face Mark Morris’ Riku Kusakabe in the singles final today. Vo and Vo play Alex Wisdom and Mike Pelton for the doubles title.
Bay’s Juan Ignacio Perez faces teammate Paul Copeland for a district singles berth, and Washougal’s Greg Lyall plays Xander Fischer of R.A. Long for a district spot.
Bay’s doubles team of Bailey Ridgeway and Danny Villagrana also play for a district berth today.
