The Kalama Chinooks were all over the ball Friday at Doc Harris Stadium scoring six times in the first half. Short passes and first downs were key to an early Chinook lead, which helped secure a solid win.
Seton Catholic repeatedly turned the ball over on downs and had trouble completing passes. A second quarter fumble at their own goal line led to a 100-yard touchdown run by Kalama’s Victor Leatzow.
Although the Cougars had a successful rally in the second half, scoring twice in the fourth quarter, it was not enough to overcome the commanding lead held by the Chinooks.
