Vancouver Heights — A donation from iQ Credit Union’s iQ for Kids Foundation will benefit a youth mentoring pilot program at Marshall Elementary School. The foundation recently presented a $3,000 check to the school’s Teach One to Lead One program, which provides mentors to students to help guide them in becoming responsible citizens. Eight community members have signed up to be mentors and show kids the importance of respect, integrity, self-control and other principles, according to a press release.
