Nominees for high school football player of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Oct. 10. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Tuesday with results published in Wednesday’s Columbian.

o JOSH ANDERSON, STEVENSON: Anderson rushed for 95 yards on 17 carries and two TDs, and added nine tackles and an interception in the Bulldogs’ win over Kalama.

o JOSH EMMY, SKYVIEW: Emmy rushed for 152 yards on 19 carries and one TD in the Storm’s win over Mountain View.

o LIAM FITZGERALD, CAMAS: Fitzgerald pass for 253 yards on 8-of-14 passing and a touchdown and rushed for 21 yards and another TD in the Papermakers’ win over Battle Ground.

o REY GREEN, EVERGREEN: Green caught five passes for 142 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 22 yards and another TD in the Plainsmen’s loss at Yelm.

o COLE JUDD, LA CENTER: Judd rushed for 122 yards on 13 carries and scored two touchdowns in the Wildcats’ win over White Salmon.

Note: Athletes may not be nominated for player-of-the-week honor in consecutive weeks.
