No sampling of Southwest Washington anglers is available this week from the state Department of Fish and Wildlife.
The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife’s sole check is from the mouth of the John Day River, where the Columbia backs several miles up the John Day. There sampling last weekend found 21 boats with nine steelhead kept and 27 wild steelhead released.
