Dog’s ball collection at 104 and counting

Camas — Most dogs love to fetch balls, but Dan Quinn’s dog Haskell has taken it to another level. Quinn contacted The Columbian last week to share a photo that shows a cache of 104 baseball and softballs his 5-year-old Australian shepherd mix brought home after they were hit out of a nearby ball field. The balls are piled in a heap in the Quinn family’s yard. “He seemed to be born with a natural attraction to balls of all kinds,” Quinn wrote in an email.
