Chipotle Mexican Grill will open its second Clark County restaurant at 11 a.m. today. The newest location for the popular fast-casual restaurant is at 7715 N.E. 5th Ave. in Vancouver, just west of Interstate 5 at 78th Street. Chipotle’s other Clark County location is at 915 S.E. 164th Ave., also in Vancouver.
Chipotle’s formula of high-quality ingredients and a limited menu has driven high profits and rapid growth for the Denver-based chain. Its third quarter earnings showed a 28 percent increase in revenue through Sept. 30 of this year, to $3.04 billion. The company opened 132 new restaurants in 2014, for a total of 1,724 locations.
