CASCADE LOCKS, Ore. — A large slide has made Oneonta trail No. 424 in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area impassable.
The Friends of the Columbia Gorge report that the slide is about a mile south of the Oneonta trailhead on the Historic Columbia River Highway. The slide blocks access to Triple Falls.
The Horsetail Falls-Oneonta loop is still open, as the slide is about a quarter-mile south of the Horsetail-Oneonta junction.
