A patient waiting for a cab at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center was arrested Wednesday morning after throwing a table and causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.
Kim Kapp, spokeswoman for the Vancouver Police Department, said the patient thought the cab was taking too long to arrive and grew agitated. He threw a table to try and break down a door, which broke the table and caused some damage.
No one was injured, but a wall sustained damage of about $3,000, said hospital spokesman Randy Querin. The hospital is at 400 N.E. Mother Joseph Place in Vancouver.
The patient was arrested and booked into the Clark County Jail on suspicion of second-degree malicious mischief.
