Woman’s two years with Peace Corps complete

West Hazel Dell — Royce Andrews, a 2007 Columbia River High School graduate, wrapped up two years of Peace Corps service this year in Burkina Faso, an impoverished country in West Africa where she served as an “informal educator” to benefit youth. While there, she organized educational campaigns about women’s health and malaria as well as a youth camp with a focus on education and empowerment, according to her mother, Nancy Andrews, who lives in Vancouver with husband Gregg Andrews.
