Wal-Mart employees aid free medical, dental clinics

Bagley Downs — Following a $50,000 grant from the Wal-Mart Foundation to help fund the Free Clinic of Southwest Washington’s adult dental program, employees from local Wal-Marts went one step further and volunteered their time. The Free Clinic celebrated “Wal-Mart Day” on Nov. 14 to honor the recent grant. Wal-Mart associates spent that morning helping clinic staff as they provided care in the medical and dental clinics. The volunteer effort was part of Wal-Mart’s statewide Day of Action.
