Lauren Harris of Camas volleyball was voted The Columbian’s high school fall sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Nov. 8.
Harris collected 46 percent of the 1,221 votes cast by fans to beat out Megan Sawyer of Prairie soccer, who had 42 percent.
Harris recorded 22 kills and 32 digs in two matches in the 4A district title, sending the Papermakers to the district title.
The other nominees were Chase Gilbert of Skyview boys cross country, Alexis Fuller of Union girls cross country and Colleen Woods of Heritage swimming.
Nominees and the online ballot are posted at www.360preps.com each Monday and voting continues until 8 p.m. Thursday.
