Lots of coho continue to get caught in the Cowlitz, Lewis and Klickitat rivers, plus at Lyle off the mouth of the Klickitat.
Including fish released, sportsmen averaged about a coho per rod in the Cowlitz, Kalama and North Fork of the Lewis rivers last week and even better in the Klickitat.
Also of note, three winter steelhead returned to the Cowlitz Salmon Hatchery last week.

Mid-Columbia — Bonneville pool, 63 boaters with one adult chinook and 103 adult coho kept. (WDFW)
John Day pool, 37 boats with three steelhead kept and 15 steelhead released. (WDFW)
Cowlitz — Thirty-four boaters with 28 adult coho kept and five adult coho released; 238 bank rods with 156 adult coho, two cutthroat trout and one adult chinook kept plus 26 adult chinook, 59 adult coho, two jack coho and two steelhead released. (WDFW)
