Woodland — Students at Woodland Intermediate School were applauded last month for their strong showings on state reading and math assessments. More than 900 people attended a ceremony on Oct. 22, where 184 students picked up awards for receiving high marks and making improvements. The number of students at the school who received awards from the state’s Measurements of Student Progress, or MSP, testing has improved in recent years. In 2012, Woodland Intermediate students earned 126 honors and last year got 156, according to a press release. The school is attended by about 490 students.
