Esther Short — A youth service group created hygiene kits for those in need out of thousands of eyeglass cases donated at Lions Club collection boxes. The LEO Legends group, made up of local teens, handed out the kits at recent charitable events at Share House, a 43-bed men’s shelter operated by Share, and the Armed Forces Reserve Center. Group members filled the hard cases with personal items including a toothbrush, hand wipes, bandages and more. Learn more about LEO Legends at www.leolegends.org.
