Four Boy Scouts from the Fort Vancouver District have been advanced to the rank of Eagle Scout. They include:

Joshua Mathews of Boy Scout Venture Crew 367 who built children’s building blocks for children at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for his Eagle project. Joshua, 16, is a son of Dean and Jennifer Mathews and is a junior at Skyview High School.

Nicolas Skimas of Boy Scout Troop 358 refurbished the tennis courts at Clark College for his Eagle project. A graduate of Columbia River High School, Nicolas, 18, is a son of Michelle and Nick Skimas.

Sixteen-year-old brothers, Kent and Keith Stricker are members of Boy Scout Troop 479 and sons of Mike and Luanne Stricker. Both are sophomores at Columbia River High School. Kent cleaned and painted at the St. Vincent DePaul facility for his Eagle project and Keith painted play equipment boxes for Lady of Lourdes School for his project.
