UNIFIRST ALDO CROATTI AWARD
Ulises Ruiz of Vancouver, a UniFirst route sales representative based in Portland, was one of 10 employees nationwide awarded for customer service and customer satisfaction. The company provides work uniforms to 1.5 million workers throughout the U.S. and Canada. Ruiz has been employed with UniFirst for 10 years and delivers uniforms and products to 86 businesses every week. As part of his award, Ruiz will receive a trip for two to Maui in December, where he will be recognized by UniFirst president and CEO Ron Croatti.
WASHINGTON STATE PTA OUTSTANDING ADVOCATE AWARD
Edri Geiger, vice president of the board of directors at Vancouver Public Schools, was recognized as the year’s Outstanding Advocate by Washington State PTA at a conference last month in Vancouver. The award recognizes and honors an individual for dedicated service to all children and a demonstrated commitment to helping create strong policies relating to the health, welfare, safety and education of children and youth.
