Dr. Dennis Wickham, Clark County’s medical examiner, has been appointed to a four-year term on the state forensics investigations council, Gov. Jay Inslee announced Monday.
The 12-member council oversees the state toxicology laboratory at the University of Washington; studies and recommends improvements in the death investigation system; and reports its findings to the Legislature. Its members include one county medical examiner.
Wickham has been Clark County medical examiner since 1999.
