Randy Mueller is leaving his position as the Port of Ridgefield’s director of business development to become executive director at the Port of Chehalis.

Mueller said by email that he’ll leave the Ridgefield port on June 6 and begin work in Chehalis on June 23. He has held the business development position since 2007.

The Port of Ridgefield was formed in 1940 and encompasses a district of approximately 57 square miles. It oversees an industrial park and adjacent development with about two dozen businesses.

The Port of Chehalis, formed in 1986, operates two industrial parks in Lewis County.
