The National Eating Disorders Association is hosting its fourth annual Portland NEDA Walk on June 22.

The theme for this year’s walk is “NEDA Walk. Save a Life.” Money raised from the walk will be used to support NEDA’s education and advocacy programs.

The walk begins at 10 a.m. Sunday, June 22 at Willamette Park, off Southwest Macadam Avenue. Day-of-event registration and check-in begins at 9 a.m.

Event speakers include Barbara Oyler, a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner at Providence Behavioral Health Services, and Angie Pozzi-Ogan, an eating disorder survivor.

To pre-register for the event, visit www.nedawalks.org/portlandor2014 or call 212-575-6200. Cost is $25 for adults, $15 for students, $10 for children younger than 12 and $5 for pets.

NEDA is headquartered in New York City and is the leading U.S. nonprofit organization supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders, according to the organization.
