Moses Lake 3, Union 2 — Blake Springer singled home Kevin Cosper in the bottom of the eighth inning to end Union’s season at the Yakima Regional of the Class 4A state tournament on Saturday.
Jake Hawken had a RBI single in the first to give Union an early 1-0 lead. Jack Bauer scored on a passed ball in the fifth to tie the game 2-2. Cody Hawken went 3 for 4 for Union.
Gonzaga Prep 10, Battle Ground 1 — The Tigers’ season ended with a loss in the Tacoma Regional of the 4A state tournament. No other details were reported.
