A Camas man was among four people arrested after a drug-trafficking investigation in Skamania County.
Nathan McLean, 35, of Camas and Terri “Sis” Usher, 51, of Stevenson were arrested Thursday for allegedly delivering methamphetamine. McLean, who’s currently in the Clark County Jail, had a hold placed on him for the Skamania County charge. Usher was arrested in Stevenson and booked into the Skamania County Jail.
During a Thursday evening raid at Pauly’s Niteclub in Stevenson, deputies with the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office and a pair of Washington State Liquor Control Board agents arrested the owner, Paul Cengic, 35, of Stabler, and his former employee Justin Sleeper, 40, of Stevenson. The pair have been the targets of a monthslong investigation into a suspected marijuana trafficking organization operating out of the nightclub and Cengic’s home, according to the sheriff’s office.
Police seized evidence, including Cengic’s vehicle.
Cengic was booked into the Skamania County Jail on suspicion of four counts of delivering marijuana, and Sleeper was booked on two counts of the same charge.
“We received many complaints about the alleged activity at Pauly’s,” said Skamania Chief Criminal Deputy Pat Bond. “We are expecting additional arrests and vehicle seizures in the coming months based upon these investigations.”
