Clark College will welcome Karen Russell, author of “Swamplandia!” “Vampires in the Lemon Grove” and “St. Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves,” as part of the spring installment of its free Columbia Writers Series.
Russell will read from her work and discuss her writing process from 1 to 2 p.m. May 29 in Foster Auditorium on Clark’s main campus, 1933 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver.

Russell’s first novel, “Swamplandia!” was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize. She is a 2011 Guggenheim fellow and a 2012 fellow at the American Academy in Berlin.
